I was in Vegas just recently for the first time in 24 years. Wow, what a change from the 80's !! The movie Casino, where Robert DeNiro says "The town will never be the same" at the end of the movie is absolutely right. It does look like Disneyland. I must say that it is pretty impressive though. I enjoyed visiting The Freemont St Experience downtown most of all. Downtown Las Vegas still hosts the original old style casinos like Freemont, Binions, and Golden Nugget. The Golden Nugget was my favorite of the downtown casinos. Fitzgeralds was my least favorite of all casinos in Vegas. But my question is this. Do the casinos in Detroit offer all the same games as Las Vegas' casinos do, and do they offer sportsbook wagering ? I live in Cleveland, and I think it would be fun to make a couple trips up there this football season.Do the Detroit casinos offer a sports wagers ?
No they don't offer sports betting, but if you want to bet on sports you can online. Here's a site that offers a few to choose from. http://upnorthbetting.net/sports_betting鈥?/a>
no. Vegas is the only legal place to make sports bets in personDo the Detroit casinos offer a sports wagers ?
no the only place where you can make a sports wager other than horse racing is Nevada
No, there are specific terms in their agreement with the State of Michigan that prohibits them from offering sports wagering. It's nice to have a sportsbook so you can see all of the different games, but as far as placing wagers and researching, you can't beat online gaming. I prefer to play from home and I have access to the best stats and I can take advantage of last minute changes to line-ups etc.
