What hotel would be nicer to stay in las vegas?

i like the golden nugget and the monte carlo but i dont know which one to pick.Im going there for my honeymoon this month and i dont know whick one to stay in.....HELP!!!!What hotel would be nicer to stay in las vegas?
Golden Nugget is beautiful but remember it's downtown and not on the Vegas strip. On the strip, the really nice affordable hotels are MGM Grand, Planet Hollywood, Mirage and Mandalay Bay.

The Monte Carlo is in a much better location.

Stay on the strip, not downtown.
The Golden Nugget is slightly nicer but the location for the Monte Carlo is much more convenient especially now that you have a tram that connects to Aria and Bellagio. For honeymooners, there is more to do on the strip as far as restaurant, show, club selections.



I would pick the Monte Carlo unless you are a very budget minded, old school Vegas type.
Golden Nugget is Downtown and that is not the famous Strip, so I would pick Monte Carlo.

Well the golden nugget is the best downtown casino and the MC is average on the strip hotel, depends if you want to stay downtown or on the strip really but i been to the GN and i have to say that place is NICE!! But depending on your age group, if your over 30 i would go with GN and under i would go with MC.

Monte Carlo because of the better location. I would also consider to stay at MGM Grand, Luxor or Mirage. Before I book I always make sure to get the best hotel promotion, then I decide which hotel is the best for the money. Definitely the Golden Nugget. Both are good, but go for the Nugget.
