Why was the Flying Coaster at Elitch Gardens/ Six Flags in Denver CO closed down?

I heard that someone fell out, landed on the track bellow them and was cut in half by another vihicle thing. IS THIS true?!?!?!?!?!?!? i loved that ride? if not true, tell me why it is being torn down. Why was the Flying Coaster at Elitch Gardens/ Six Flags in Denver CO closed down?
There have only been two accidents at Elitch Gardens and neither one had to do with the Flying coaster:

Elitch Gardens

Main article: Elitch Gardens (Amusement Park)

[edit] The Rainbow

In May 2002, a 28-year-old man with Down syndrome, opened his seat restraints and stood while the ride was in motion, subsequently falling to his death. Witnesses reported that the victim unlatched his seat belt and maneuvered himself out of the lap restraints.[2]

[edit] Sidewinder

In August 1997, a ride operator suffered a fatal fall from the three-story roller coaster platform. OSHA fined the park over $32,000 as a result.[2]

This is the most recent info I could find about the Flying Coaster; if they have already taken it down, it may just be in storage for now, but it is officially listed as SBNO (standing but not operating).

The "Flying Coaster" is

moving to a new home and

will be closed for the 2008

season.

Elitch Gardens is making room

for another new and

exciting family attraction.

It isn't known at this time if this new home will be at Elitch Gardens or perhaps another amusement park owned by the PARC 7F Operations Corporation

I work at Elitches now!! I will probably be working the Boomerang just because it is the most fun ride to operate (for the few rides I am actually trained on haha).

Half pipe has been having its days recently where it hasn't been running. I am not sure if it is due to the cold Denver has had the past couple of weeks, or for other reasons not known to me.

Sidewinder actually valleyed about a week ago due to the cold. So if it is a cold day you visit the park, I hope it isn't, than that too might not be running.

Flying Coaster is done for. It is still standing and nothing to my knowledge has happened about dismantling besides the removal of the trains.

Hope this answers your questions :DWhy was the Flying Coaster at Elitch Gardens/ Six Flags in Denver CO closed down?
