Last page of my home work tonight but heres the question.....
The tower of doom, at elitch gardens in denver, co lifts 15 people 50 m into air. the engineers assume the average person has mass of 70 kg.
How much rider "Weight" does the ride lift into the air? {Neglect the weight of the cars and air resistance}
How much force must the ride produce to do this?
How much work does the ride do to lift the riders up to a height of 50 meters?
how much work does gravity do while the riders are lifted up to a height of 50 meters?Science question please help........?
weight=15*70*9.8
Force for constant speed is the same as the weight
work=weight times distance
50*15*70*9.8
The work of gravity is minus the work of the force
-50*15*70*9.8
