Stay at the Imperial Palace, it is in the center of the strip and cheaper. The Golden Nugget is downtown and a two mile bus ride to the south strip and the Tropicana can get a bit pricey for just a room.Should I stay at the Tropicana, Golden Nugget, Imperial palace in vegas?
Golden Nugget is nice, but it's not on the strip, which is where all the action is. Imperial Palace has a great location, but it's a pretty dowdy place. Tropicana just finished major renovations and looks great; it also has a really nice pool area. Its location isn't as good as IP, but it's not bad at all. So I would definitely choose Tropicana.
Out of those three I would definitely say Tropicana. They just got done renovating all of the rooms and they are all nice, modern and bright now. The location is good too, far enough to not be right in the middle of things but still close enough to walk to anything you would need to see.
The Golden Nugget I have heard is really nice, but it is downtown, which means you would have to rely on bus fare to get to the strip. Personally, I spend all of my time on the strip and make one special trip downtown during my stays so buying bus passes would not be cost effective for me.
Imperial Palace is right in the center of everything on the strip, behind Harrah's, but it is kind of a dump. In that case there is a reason the rates get so low. I have heard it compared to a Motel 6.Should I stay at the Tropicana, Golden Nugget, Imperial palace in vegas?
Tropicana Definitely. Its an ok room. Nothing fancy- But why need a fancy room when you're in VEGAS!?!
Tropicana is in the middle of everything.. all the entertainment, all the modern big casinos. Its in walking distance to everything.
Golden Nugget is in a totally different part of town. Its called downtown but it is where Las Vegas started in like 1920. Its still fun. but you wont see all the stuff they show on tv.
So New Vegas (Tropicana) or Old Vegas (Golden Nugget)?
hi brian, tropicana just remodeled and on the strip. imperial palace kind of a dump, golden
nugget nice but on fremont and you would need a bus to get to the strip, it would not
take long for downtown vegas to the strip is about 3 miles, but if you want the strip,
tropicana.

The new rooms at the Tropicana are beautiful. Of the three, I will pick the Tropicana.
Golden Nugget is Downtown not on Strip. Tropicana has been renovated and I would go there
