Go to a site called "Planet Catfish". The actual species name for these so called algae eaters , is Plecostomus. When you find the site you want to look for fish that are categorized as different L-numbers. These are all of the Pleco species. Search the site for your Gold Nugget , or Gold Spot Pleco. Their are about a half dozen sub-species of Gold Nuggets. Some with fewer lagre spots and others with a lot of smaller specs. Some with the yellow tipped fins , but most are without. Go to yesterdays questions on Yahoo Answers. I think around 5 pm. I got a little carried away and wrote a few things about Plecos. That guy was asking about a white spot , or snowflake pleco. Everything that I wrote will also directly apply to your fish.....Pleco John.....Good luck , that is a beautiful species. Check out the other L-numbers. Their hundreds of really cool plecos
