Old town Las Vegas.. how is the Golden Nugget ?

I will be heading out to Vegas for a family reunion this July :) That being said I will be staying at the Golden Nugget. How far away is the 4 Queens from the Nugget? How nice is the Golden Nuggets pool? I heard it was an amazing place to stay and the pool is to die for. Please helpOld town Las Vegas.. how is the Golden Nugget ?
I didn't stay at the Golden Nugget, I stayed at the Plaza, which is right across the street. I ate at the breakfast buffet, which was alright for the price. The pool is really cool. They have sharks swimming in the aquarium right in front of the pool. The casino was nice too so I am guessing the rooms were pretty nice too. The Four Queens is just a walk right out the door.
Very near one another.

GM has the worst food in town. At at the buffet and my dog at home gets better food than served in this palce. Help is awful and in general it is a disappointment.

I do not hate on my city, but the GN is one of the worst places to stay on a visit.Old town Las Vegas.. how is the Golden Nugget ?

gold nugget has a great pool, the only 4 star hotel on fremont, golden nugget,

and it is as nice as mgm mirage.
The Nugget pool is fantastic and has a slide. BTW not old town by Downtown You are across the street from Queens
