I can't think of anything particularly bad about the Golden Nugget. It's always been a cut above some of the seedier casinos (which I also love) downtown. It's been there, more or less unchanged for as long as I can remember. If you like hanging around downtown, it's a good enough place to stay at.
I've always felt comfortable gambling there. The minimums are reasonable.
I love the Nugget. I loved it more 15-20 years ago, but its still a nice place. The downtown Fremont Experience is very cool, too.Whats so bad about the golden nugget in vegas?
I found it to have the worst food in LV%26gt; It was like day old meals that were reheated. I was very disappointed with the visit. The staff is less than customer service trained. It is just a disappointment. Thank goodness for all the other places that welcome guests.
There is NOTHING bad about the Golden Nugget. It's like a beautiful Strip hotel (kinda like the Mirage) on Fremont St. downtown and priced accordingly.
