It's extremely overhyped as a megapark when in reality is a place with no more than 25 rides operating at one time. Not worth the outrageous prices for admission, parking, awful food. Not worth it since their wooden coaster nearly consistently runs one train, even on a crowded day making wait times over an hour long.
Management under Six Flags was a disaster! On a note of hope, the park was purchased by a company out of Florida and hopefully they'll reduce prices and offer better customer service. We shall see. But I wouldn't hold my breath. The only other positive thing I can say is that Elitch's does appear to have a nice looking waterpark. It may be worth getting season passes instead of a one-day ticket so you won't have to take in the park all in one long frustrating day.
Lakeside Amusement Park is also in Denver. It is not as big, but does have a great wooden coaster that you can ride a dozen times for every one ride on Twister II. The place has much greater value for your dollar than Elitch's.Is Elitch Gardens a good amusement park. We just moved to Denver?
Never heard of it! ...Sorry!
